Unicorn World

Get ready for a day of sparkles, rainbows, and of course, unicorns! This fun limited-time attraction is best described as the perfect little girl birthday party... on steroids (in the best way possible). It’s full of massive bouncy houses, multiple unicorn-themed games, crafts, motorized unicorns to ride, face painting, and unlimited picture opportunities!

What is Unicorn World?

It’s a traveling event focused on bringing a magical unicorn world to your children! We visited when it was in Chicago, but my understanding is that the experience is the same regardless of the city you are in experiencing it.

Unicorn World Tips

  • Strollers are easy to navigate, and you will want one since the space is big and your little one may want to sit/ lay
  • To Ride the motorized unicorns and play on the bouncy houses you need to buy a “ride pass.” I would suggest buying it online while buying the tickets. If you buy on-site it will be more expensive
  • There are small “gift shop” stands throughout the event- your little ones will want to buy things from it, so if you’re not planning to shop, set expectations beforehand, and maybe have something at home for them to look forward to (I bought small unicorn figurines for my little ones before hand and left them at home, any time they asked to buy something I reminded them we are not shopping here, but they have unicorns at home)
  • There’s a concession stand with limited snacks, but I wouldn’t plan on it being a full lunch

There was so much to do! Here’s what we Did and saw::

  • Enchanted Forest - This area was decorated like a forest with motorized unicorns. The kids can take pictures and pet the unicorns
  • Face painting (this was an extra $20 on-site, but we could have saved a few dollars by purchasing online when buying tickets). It was worth it, the face painting was beautiful and the little ones LOVED it!
  • Story Time - There was a cute area where little ones could sit on cushions to listen to someone read fun unicorn/fairytale-themed books
  • Arts and Crafts - There were multiple crafts as well as coloring pages, we spent so much time there!
  • Ball pits - the little ones loved playing in the ball pits, they had three different ones, so they were never too crowded

What we did (continued):

  • Bouncy Houses - They had large bouncy houses for children 2 YO+ as well as smaller bouncy houses and play areas for kids under 2 YO
  • Unicorns to ride- There were motorized small unicorns (unicorn helmets provided ). This is part of the “rides pack” so make sure to buy it beforehand.
  • Photo stations - Scattered around the event were fun photo backgrounds, and my little ones never got tired of posing for pictures!
  • Unicorns to pet - Outside of the enchanted forest, there were more life-size unicorns for little ones to pet
  • Games - there were multiple outdoor type games like unicorn ring toss, unicorn connect four, giant legos, unicorn mini bowling
